Verizon starts taking pre-order for Lumia 822 for $99.99. Off-contract price $ 449.99. Ships by 13th Nov.

Verizon has started taking pre-orders for Lumia 822 at the on-contract price of $99.99. The off contract price is quoted to be $ 449.99. As per the information shown on the product page, devices will start shipping by 13th November. They are projecting Lumia 822 as a world phone it seems. Though AT&T Lumia 920’s on-contract and off-contract prices are too aggressive to be compared with Lumia 822 prices (In fact both are same :P), but in case you don’t want to switch to AT&T then Lumia 822 is a great option compared to Lumia copycat HTC 8X which has been priced at $ 199.99.

At a substantially lower price of $99.99 as compared to $199.99 for HTC 8X, Lumia 822 has many much better features and innovations sorely missing in copycat 8X.

  • Supersensitive touch screen (Works with Glove, Fork, Spoon , Keys ………:).)
  • Dolby Surround sound
  • MicroSD slot
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • 8 MP Carl-Zeiss lens
  • CBD display with great outdoor visibility
  • Camera lenses like Cinemagraph, Smartshoot and many more
  • Nokia Maps, Drive, City Lens
  • Nokia Music
  • Many more Nokia exclusive applications
