MikroPC has conducted laboratory tests on the displays of Lumia 920, iPhone 5 and SGS III to verify Nokia’s claim of Lumia 920 having the fastest display.

Measurements, we used the Lagomin response time testwith light gray (rgb-values 192, 192, 192) the beamed ceiling moves in the dark greys (64, 64, 64). The test model displays complicated the situation, to harmaasävystä.

Test on the screen is rotated to 10 bar of 60 fps. If the screen shows exactly one ten bar and no ghost image, the image is seared in less than 16.7 milliseconds or one box during the stroke. Two ghost image means less than 33.3 milliseconds, and so on and so forth.

We carried out the test by taking the phones photo series 1/500 seconds, the shutter speeds. After this, we analyze the pictures, by counting the number of “ghost” images

The above image clearly shows that Lumia 920 has 0.59 “Ghost bars” while SGS III has 1.41 and iPhone 5 the worst 3.15. Measuring in terms of refresh speed, Lumia 920’s display is 2.4 times faster than SGS III and 5.4 times faster than iPhone 5’s display.

Thanks easycapexpertti for the Tip. Cheers !!
